strength, mobility and physical wellbeing
healthy weight management and lifestyle change
stress, rest and relaxation
meditation and self-awareness
emotional wellbeing and recurring patterns
guided inquiry and personal exploration
establishing a regular personal practice
another goal that is important to you
HOW DO WE WORK?We start with a conversation about where you are and what you want to work towards. From there, your programme may draw from:
yoga and movement
breathwork
meditation
Yoga Nidra and deep relaxation
awareness practices
guided inquiry
We use what is relevant rather than following a fixed routine.WHY ONE-TO-ONE?Personal work allows the programme to develop with you.We can observe what is working, adjust the practice and change the emphasis as your needs and progress change. You don't need previous yoga or meditation experience.START WITH A CONVERSATIONEvery Private Yoga programme begins with a free 30-minute consultation.Tell us what you would like to work on. Reset
Slow down. Release. Reset.Reset is a restorative yoga programme for people who carry ongoing stress, mental load or accumulated tension and want a practical way to slow down and deeply rest. The practice combines gentle movement, conscious breathing, meditation and deep relaxation. No previous yoga or meditation experience is required.IS RESET RIGHT FOR ME?Reset may be a good fit if you:
find it difficult to switch off and properly relax
carry physical tension from work or everyday stress
feel mentally busy even when your body is resting
want to improve your ability to slow down and recover
prefer a gentle practice rather than a physically demanding yoga class
want practical ways to bring more calm and awareness into everyday life
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE PRACTICE?We begin with gentle movement and conscious breathing, helping the body settle and preparing you for stillness. The practice then moves progressively towards meditation and Yoga Nidra, allowing more time for physical and mental relaxation.Rather than trying to force yourself to relax, you learn practices that create the conditions in which relaxation can happen naturally.MORE THAN A RELAXATION SESSIONReset isn't simply about feeling relaxed for an hour. With regular practice, you begin to recognise tension earlier, become more aware of your reactions and develop practical ways of returning to greater steadiness in everyday life. The intention is to develop a practice you can gradually take with you beyond the session.HOW DOES IT WORK?Reset is deliberately kept personal.One-to-one or small groups of up to 3 people. This allows the practice to be adjusted to your experience, comfort and needs rather than following a fixed large-group class.DO I NEED YOGA OR MEDITATION EXPERIENCE?No.You begin from where you are. The practices are introduced gradually and adapted to your level of experience.START WITH A CONVERSATIONNot sure whether Reset is right for you?Begin with a free 30-minute consultation. We can talk about what you're looking for and whether Reset is an appropriate place to begin.
Mobility 40+
Move well. Stay strong. Rest deeply.Mobility 40+ is a practical yoga programme for adults over 40 who want to keep their body mobile, strong and capable while developing greater awareness, steadiness and ease. The practice is adapted to your current ability. You don’t need to be flexible, fit or experienced in yoga to begin. Is Mobility 40+ right for me?It may be a good fit if you:
feel stiffer or less mobile than you used to
want to maintain strength, balance and comfortable movement as you get older
have been less active and want a sensible way to start moving again
want to look after your body before mobility becomes a problem
prefer personal guidance rather than following a large general class
want a practice that includes both physical movement and deep relaxation
What happens in the practice? We work progressively with mobility, strength, balance, posture, breath and awareness, according to your present ability. The emphasis is not on performing difficult postures. It is on developing a body that moves well and remains capable in everyday life.Every practice finishes with Yoga Nidra, a guided practice of deep relaxation. This gives the body time to rest after movement and allows the mind to settle deeply. In this way, Mobility 40+ works with more than the physical body. Movement, attention and deep rest are all part of the practice. How does it work?Mobility 40+ is deliberately kept small and personal.One-to-one or small groups of up to 3 people. This allows us to observe how you move, adapt the practice to your needs and progress gradually rather than expecting everyone to follow the same routine.Do I need previous yoga experience? No.You begin from where you are.If you are new to yoga, we’ll establish the foundations gradually. If you already have experience, the practice can be developed from your current level. What do I need to bring?Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely is enough. The practice does not require special equipment or previous preparation.Start with a conversationNot sure whether Mobility 40+ is right for you?Begin with a free 30-minute consultation.
